Caring for children in a child care setting is a huge responsibility and it is our goal to assist and ensure that each child care provider is prepared to identify and provide the best health and safety to the children in their care.
- We are nurses with over 40 years of experience in caring for children from infants to young adults
- We are certified by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services to train in Medication Administration (MAT)
- We are certified by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services to train in Health and Safety
- We have certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross and the National Safety Council to train in CPR/First Aid/AED
- We are Verified Trainers with Aspire- New York Works for Children
- We are certified trainers in Mandated Child Abuse and Neglect/Maltreatment Identification
- We offer training courses that are approved for NYS licensed day care providers for 15 hours of credit towards their 30-hour, bi-annual training requirement
- We are knowledgeable Health Care Consultants in New York codes, rules and regulation as per the Office of Children and Family Services and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYCDOHMH)
- We can assist you in making your Health and Safety Plan survey or audit ready
For programs that have staff trained in NYS OCFS medication administration, we can assist with your Health Care Plan and be the Health Consultant on record - In NYC child care programs, we conduct vision, hearing, height, weight and blood pressure screening for those children whose medical reports do not contain this needed information
